It was a wild morning in parts of southwestern Ontario as thunderstorms rolled across the area causing damage and leaving thousands without power.
More than 4350 customers are without power in Elgin County this morning after strong storms rolled through. The area affected reaches from St. Thomas to Port Stanley, and Aylmer.
Hydro One says that power should be restored sometime around 10 a.m.
In Glencoe more than 2100 customers are without power. Power was expected to be restored by 9 a.m.
In London a motorcyclist was injured after trying to avoid a fallen tree limb on Woodhull Road just north of Gideon Drive.
