A Chesley man has plead guilty to killing Hanover teenager, Christine Harron over 20 years ago.
Anthony Edward Ringel, 47, appeared in a Walkerton Courtroom Tuesday morning to enter the guilty plea of second degree murder.
Harron went missing on her way to school on May 18, 1993.
Despite several searches her body was never found.
In 2004, Ringel admitted to undercover police officers that he snatched Harron, pulled her into the woods, sexually assaulted her and then drown her in the Saugeen River.
In 2006, first degree murder charges against Ringel were stayed after key evidence was deemed inadmissible by a judge.
In February of 2013, Ringel was re-arrested and once again charged with first degree murder.
On Tuesday, he plead guilty to second degree murder.
Ringel has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for at least 12 years.
