One person pulled from the waters of Lake Huron near Goderich pier

Huron OPP were on the beach in Goderich this afternoon following reports of an unconscious person in the water near the pier.
For some time around noon, access to the beach was closed while police, paramedics, Goderich Fire Department, and a helicopter from CFB Trenton were on the scene.
The individual was transported to Goderich Hospital, investigators are continuing to search the area to find out more information about this individual.
CTV News reached out to police and were told more information would be released when it becomes available.
