With nicer weather bringing more people outdoors, London police are asking drivers, cyclists and pedestrians to be more careful.

The reminder comes after a rash of collisions with pedestrians and cyclists in recent weeks that have sent several people to hospital and left one teen dead.

According to police, so far in 2015, (Jan. 1 to July 8), there have been two fatalities, 33 cyclist collisions and 102 pedestrian collisions in the city.

Seventeen-year-old Ricardo Duarte died after being struck while riding his bicycle at Wellington Road and Bradley Avenue on June 13.

On Monday, a 20-year-old male on a skateboard collided with a moving transport truck at Dundas and Adelaide streets. After being in critical condition all week, he is now listed in fair condition.

And on Wednesday, a 47-year-old female collided with a transport truck on Highbury Avenue while riding her bicycle. She remains in critical condition.

Police say the drivers were not at fault in any of these incidents and no charges are being laid against them.

But regardless of who is or isn't at fault, police want drivers, cyclists and pedestrians to do more to ensure everyone's safety.
