An Oxford County man is facing numerous charges, including Impaired Driving after leading OPP on a chase.
Around 6:45 p.m. Monday, police were called to a two vehicle collision on Simcoe Street in Tillsonburg.
That's when a vehicle not involved in the collision sped out of the mall parking lot at a high rate of speed and almost hit one of the officers.
The driver got into a single vehicle crash on Jackson Side Road in Norfolk County and was arrested.
Christopher Simmons, 26, of Bayham is charged with:
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Operate a Motor Vehicle - Impaired
- Operate a Motor Vehicle - Over 80mg
- Flight while being pursued by Peace Officer
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Drive Motor Vehicle - No Licence - Highway Traffic Act
