The saying goes that lightning never strikes the same place twice, and for My Sister's Place it's true, because the building has been hit three times, not twice, in just six weeks.

Bree Fagan saw it happen and says "I literally jumped ten feet off the ground."

The Dundas Street centre that supports women at risk of homelessness was struck by a lightning bolt Friday morning.

There were no injuries, but the strike was quite alarming and knocked shingles off the roof.

The centre has decided to close for the day while repairs are done.
