This weather statement is in effect for Middlesex, Huron, Perth, Lambton, Oxford, Wellington and Brant County.
A possible five to 15 centimetres of snow could fall by Wednesday night.
Motorists are encouraged to drive with extra caution, as the storm will bring heavy and blowing snow.
A winter storm warning has also been issued for Elgin County, Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Simcoe-Delhi-Norfolk and areas to the east.
Environment Canada is forecasting freezing rain Tuesday night changing to heavy and blowing snow on Wednesday.
Snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres are possible by Wednesday night and brisk northeasterly winds could cause low visibilities at times.
