Chatham-Kent police say a 48-year-old man has died after falling from a parking garage.
Emergency crews responded to the Downtown Chatham Centre on Wellington Street shortly after 7:30 a.m.
The Chatham man was transported via ambulance to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance where life saving measures were unsuccessful, say police.
Wellington Street between Fifth Street and Harvey Street was closed for a time as police assisted the Coroner’s Office in the investigation.
Police say the incident does not appear suspicious at this time.
