Police have charged two London men following separate incidents that caused significant damage to two apartment buildings
Around 1:20 a.m. Sunday, London Police attended 330 Ridout St. N. for an alarm indicating that a fire hose had been activated.
Once on scene, police say there was a large amount of water running down the stairwell and an intoxicated male was seen with a fire hose.
Damage is pegged at approximately $500,000.
A 20 year old London man has been charged with Mischief over $5000 and Being Intoxicated in a Common Area.
In an unrelated matter, police were called to 345 Wharncliffe Rd. N. around 8 a.m. in regards to flooding inside the building.
Police say piping for the sprinkler system had been tampered.
Damage is estimated at approximately $10,000.
A 25 year old London man has been charged with Mischief Over $5000.
Both investigations are ongoing.
