A London family had to flee their home after fire struck Sunday afternoon.
The fire at 53 Stroud Cres. in south London severely damaged the home.
When fire crews arrived, flames were seen shooting through the roof and there was heavy smoke.
The intensity of the blaze forced firefighters outside to fight the fire.
The family was in their basement at the time of the fire and evacuated quickly.
There were no injuries.
