Fatal single vehicle collision with hydro pole Saturday

Police say a teen driver is dead after a hitting a hydro pole in Brant County Saturday morning.

OPP report the crash happened at Cockschutt Road near Burtch Road and Indian Line.

Investigators say a dark coloured 2004 Honda left the roadway striking a hyro pole.

Police have identified the driver as 19-year-old Quinn Hainer of Ancaster, who was on his way home from work.

Police have not released any further details beyond the fact the crash was fatal.
