The sentencing for Rourke Desmanche, who was convicted in the death of his infant son, has been pushed back until November 20th.

The 23-year-old was convicted of assault and manslaughter in the death of his infant son in February and was expected to be sentenced on Tuesday.

Kurious George Rose-Desmanche was found unresponsive at a Pond Mills area townhouse and was in critical condition for several weeks before being taken off life support in August 2010.

Medical experts testified at the trial that the 10-week-old boy died after being violently shaken.

Desmanche was arrested in Saskatchewan in September 2010 on a Canada-wide warrant before being returned to Ontario to stand trial.
