Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a dead body was found Tuesday morning near the courthouse.
Police have secured the area around the courthouse, as officer conduct their investigation.
A coroner is currently on the scene. It’s unclear whether or not the death is considered suspicious.
The identity of the man is unknown at this time.
Authorities have been investigating the disappearance of Chatham man David Gordon Round, who has been missing since Jan. 18.
The 29-year-old was last seen riding a bike around 11:30 p.m. in the area of Baldoon Road.
More information is expected to be released later Tuesday afternoon.
