A Woodstock man has been charged with impaired driving after his children contacted their mother while driving with him on the 402.
The alleged incident happened in the early morning hours of April 7.
Middlesex OPP pulled over a vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the 402 near Strathroy after a woman called in a possible impaired driver.
Police say the passengers in the car who happened to be the suspect's chilcren texted their mother because they were concerned about their father’s driving.
That''s when she called police.
A 43-year-old man was charged with impaired driving and care or control over 80 milligrams.
He will appear in a London court at a later date.
