A two-vehicle crash near Ethel, Ont. shortly before 6 a.m. Monday sent three people to hospital.
Huron County OPP are investigating the crash at Newry Road and Krauter Line.
Police say a preliminary investigation has found a GMS Sierra pickup was southbound on Karuter Line when it collided with another GMC Sierra that was eastbound on Newry Road.
Two people in the southbound pickup were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The driver and lone occupant of the eastbound pickup, 47-year-old Stephen Machan of Brussels was airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The intersection at Newry Road and Krauter Line remained closed until nearly 8 p.m. and police were asking motorists to avoid the area.
