St. Thomas police are investigating two break-and-enter incidents over the last day, with one including demands for money.
Police say Saturday about 4:30 a.m., two men wearing dark hoodies banged on the door of a home in the south end demanding money. The resident called police and then managed to scare the men away by causing a commontion in the residence.
The men fled in a dark pickup truck.
In another incident, police say late Thursday or early Friday someone entered a backyard shed at a north-side residence.
A gas-powered hedge trimmer was taken.
Anyone with information is asked to call St. Thomas police.
