London police are asking for the public's help identifying a sexual assault suspect.

The alleged incident took place between 12:30 and 1:00 a.m. Monday.

A woman was walking on Adelaide Street North between Huron Street and Kipps Lane when she was approached by a man who spoke with her briefly and then grabbed her and touched her inappropriately.

She was able to escape and was not hurt.

The suspect is described as white, in his 30s with a slim build and short reddish-brown goatee.

He was wearing a toque, dark hooded sweat shirt, and possibly track pants.

He may speak with an accent and he was walking a large, shaggy, light or reddish-coloured dog, possibly named “Molly.”

Contact police if you have any information.
