Three people were taken to hospital following a three vehicle collision involving a Waste Management truck early Wednesday morning.
Police, EMS, and Fire Crews were called to the intersection of Commissioners Road and Wharncliffe Road South around 5:45 a.m. following a report of a collision with multiple patients.
A black SUV, red sedan, and Waste Management truck collided causing heavy damage to the sedan and SUV.
Police on scene said that three people were taken to hospital. Two had unspecified injuries but were conscious, while the third was taken for observation.
Wharncliffe Road southbound and Commissioners Road eastbound were blocked while police conducted an investigation and crews worked on clearing the scene.
