One person is in custody, following a stabbing in northeast London.

It happened just before midnight on Thursday, at 1001 Huron Street, just west of Highbury Avenue.

London police says a man, who was in possession of a weapon, was stabbed by a woman over a dispute about a cell phone.

The man was arrested and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He's been charged with possession of weapons dangerous and breach of probation.

No names have been released.
