An 11-year-old girl died in a two-vehicle head-on collision on Norwich Road in Oxford County Saturday.
OPP were called to Norwich Road between Middletown Line and County Road 13 around 4:30 p.m.
They say a westbound car lost control and entered the eastbound lane. The car then collided head-on with an eastbound SUV.
The 11-year-old, Abbygale Fleet, of Norwich Township, was a passenger in the SUV. She was taken to hospital where she died.
The two drivers and four other passengers were transported by ambulance to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Norwich Road was closed between Middletown Line and County Road 13 for over four hours.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
