London Dr. Tarek Loubani and Toronto filmmaker John Greyson are being seen for the first time since their detention in Egypt in a video released on YouTube.

The pair were on their way through Egypt to Gaza when they were arrested in Cairo on Aug. 16. They then spent seven weeks in custody before being released on Saturday.

Loubani and Greyson had been accused of participating in a protest alongside members of the Muslim Brotherhood, but were never charged.

They say they were arrested after Loubani stopped to treat the injured during a violent protest while Greyson filmed.

In the 66-second video posted Wednesday and titled 'John and Tarek say Hi!' the pair thank all their supporters, but Greyson says "We're stuck a bit, the ordeal's not over."

Loubani and Greyson are waiting to be removed from a no-fly list so they can return home.

A spokesman for the Egyptian government has said the men remain under active investigation and it's up to a judge to decide when they are free to leave.
