A former London elementary school teacher who plead guilty to a number of voyeurism charges, was convicted Friday of child pornography.
Jamie Gardiner, 39, plead guilty to 16 counts of voyeurism after he shot secret videos from a backpack in a staff change room at Ashley Oaks Public School.
There were 11 adult victims, but in March of 2015 investigators found that one of the videos was that of a 16 year old co-op student that Gardiner himself had hired.
Once he transferred the shots from his camera to his computer, Justice Marc Garson said, "I conclude., the defendant made and possessed images of child pornography and is found guilty on both counts."
The law states that he could face up to one year in jail, but his lawyer Richard Braiden says he may have a legal argument.
Gardiner will be back in court on Aug. 14 when victim impact statements will be heard from the women involved in this case.
