City of London Cooling Centres

The City of London has released the following list of cooling centres available during the heat alert issued by the Middlesex-London Health Unit. Community centres, spray pads and public library locations are available.

Community Centres

Across the city, 12 community centres are open seven days a week. The full list of locations is available on the city’s website or call 519-661-5575 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All outdoor pools for recreational swims. Wading pools are open regular scheduled hours. Check the website or call 519-661-5575 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the location closest to you.

Midwestern Ontario Cooling Centres

Public Health offices in Wellington, Grey and Bruce are advising people that seniors and young children are especially at risk of heat-related illness.

Anyone experiencing dizziness, rapid breathing, weakness, headaches, convulsions or confusion should seek medical attention immediately.

The Arthur Community Centre, and the Mount Forest Sports Complex will be open from 8:30 to 4:30

North Perth:
