The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is warning that some areas could see minor flooding as the mild weather brings more rain and melting snow.
Floodplains like Harris and Gibbons Park in London are particularly susceptible to flooding.
People are being asked to stay away from streams and rivers as the water is high and fast-moving and banks are slippery.
The conservation authority also says any ice on ponds or reservoirs is likely unsafe.
London and surrounding areas could see nearly 50 millimetres of rain from Monday to Wednesday and an additional 10 to 20 millimetres of water could come from melting snow.
Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources has also issued flood messages for much of southwestern Ontario.
