A woman and a child suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash overnight in Zorra Township.
Oxford OPP and Embro firefighters were called to the scene on Highway 19, south of Road 74 in Zorra Township at 12:25 a.m., Saturday, May 28th. Police say a northbound vehicle driven by a woman swerved, entered the east ditch and struck a tree. The driver and two children in the vehicle were taken to a London hospital. One of the children suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver was also hurt and remains in serious condition.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are examining the scene.
Highway 19 between Road 72 and McCarty Street is closed and is expected to remain closed into the afternoon on Saturday.
