An Alliston man has been charged with careless driving and failing to wear a seat belt after a garbage truck rollover Friday morning at Highway 402 and Oil Heritage Road in Lambton County.
OPP have charged 43-year-old Baljinder Bains in the accident that closed the westbound lanes of the highway for several hours.
It happened around 8 a.m. and Lambton OPP, Wyoming Volunteer Fire Department, Camlachie Volunteer Fire Department and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded.
The driver was taken to hospital, where he was treated and released.
