A trust fund has been set up for a little boy who was the victim of a hit-and-run on Friday evening.
Ten-year-old Tyler Brooks-Szabo was riding his bike on a sidewalk along Wexford Avenue when he was hit by a car.
Brooks-Szabo remains in critical condition at London’s Children’s Hospital.
The trust account has been set up with TD Canada Trust and donors can use the branch number 2932, along with the account number 6313211. The account is held under the name “Bethany Joyce and Michael Wiggins in Trust for Tyler Brooks.”
An Ingersoll couple was arrested over the weekend and has since appeared in court.
Thirty-four-year-old Toby Van Lieshout appeared by video on Tuesday and has been remanded in custody until November 5th.
Thirty-nine-year-old Rebecca Smith (also known as Van Lieshout) was denied bail and will appear again November 1st.
Meanwhile, there is a bike ride and candlelight vigil in support of Tyler planned for Wednesday evening.
It will begin at Lorne Avenue Public School and travel to the Children’s Hospital.
