TORONTO -- Police in Toronto have made an arrest in the death of a woman at a home in the city's east end.

Rhoderie Estrada, 41, was found suffering from what police called "obvious signs of trauma" on the morning of May 26.

Police say that despite lifesaving efforts by paramedics, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Sunday, police say they arrested a 22-year-old man of no fixed address and charged him with first-degree murder.

He's scheduled to appear in court in Toronto on Monday.

At the time of Estrada's death, police said they believed someone had entered the house through a side window and subsequently killed her.
