A teenage male has died after being thrown from his horse when it was startled by a car northeast of Tillsonburg on Monday morning.
Oxford County OPP say 15-year-old John Miller was riding westbound on Milldale Road in Norwich Township when a vehicle passing by startled the horse and caused him to be thrown off.
The driver of the vehicle saw him being thrown to the pavement and stopped to help as well as calling 911.
Police and EMS responded and he was airlifted to hospital in critical condition, but OPP say he has since succumbed to his injuries.
