London police say 18-year-old Jordan Ashley of London has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with a stabbing on Tuesday.
Shortly before noon police were called to the area of Dundas Street and Maitland Street following reports of a stabbing.
A 17-year-old suffering from stab wounds to his legs, arms and torso was taken to London Health Sciences Centre and is now listed in critical but stable condition.
Ashley was arrested nearby following a search by police and the knife used was also recovered.
Police say the two males are known to each other.
