The two people charged with first degree murder in the death of Sarnia teacher Noelle Paquette made a court appearance on Thursday morning.
Thirty-one-year-old Tanya Bogdnaovich and 19-year-old Michael MacGregor, both of Sarnia, appeared via video link.
The pair was arrested a week ago, just one day after the body of 27-year-old Paquette was found in a woodlot near Petrolia.
Paquette went missing in the early hours of New Year’s Day after leaving a party in downtown Sarnia.
During his appearance MacGregor was seen to be wearing an orange jumpsuit and both his arms and hands appeared to be bandaged.
Bogdanovich appeared separately and was wearing what looked like a green top. Neither said much and the event only lasted about 15 minutes.
During the proceedings a date for their next court appearance was set to January 31st. Both will remain in custody in the interim.
The court also imposed a publication ban on evidence surrounding the case, but provincial police are still asking for anyone with information to contact them.
