A man and a woman have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Noelle Paquette.
Lambton OPP say Tanya Bogdanovich, 31, and Michael MacGregor, 19, both of Sarnia, were arrested in London on Thursday afternoon.
Paquette, a school teacher from Courtright, went missing in the early morning hours of Tuesday after leaving a New Year’s Eve party in downtown Sarnia.
Her body was found in a wooded lot west of Petrolia, about 20 kilometres from where she was last seen, a day later.
A post mortem exam began Thursday, and is expected to continue through Friday at the London Health Sciences Centre’s University Hospital.
Bogdanovich and MacGregor appeared in a Sarnia court for a bail hearing on Friday and were remanded in custody.
