The Stratford Police Service responded to a three-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Waterloo Street and Douro Street at approximately 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Once on scene police assisted the drivers of two of the motor vehicles who had suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
A white 2002 Pontiac Sunfire driven by a 62-year-old female from Stratford was travelling west on Douro Street and stopped at the stop sign. A 2008 Honda Accord driven by a 25-year-old female Stratford resident was travelling northbound on Waterloo Street when the White Pontiac proceeded through the intersection not seeing the Honda travelling northbound.
The Honda struck the white Pontiac as it was entering the intersection causing the Pontiac to spin out of control and into a Hyundai van travelling south bound on Waterloo Street.
