London police say a 20-year-old man is facing charges after a woman was stabbed in the face early Wednesday morning.
Officers reportedly responded to a Wharncliffe Road address just before 1 a.m. in relation to a stabbing.
Upon arrival, police say a woman in her 20s was found with an injury to her cheek area. She was transported to hospital where she remains in critical but stable condition.
A man known to her, also in his 20s, was arrested nearby.
He has been charged with aggravated assault and breach of recognizance, and remains in custody.
