Two West Elgin residents are facing numerous charges after OPP searched a home on Kintyre Line on Thursday.
OPP say nine marijuana plants, 10 pounds of dry marijuana bud, 6 grams of cannabis resin and production equipment were seized from an alleged outdoor grow op.
A restricted Colt AR15 .223 calibre semi-automatic rifle and an unrestricted Ruger .22 calibre semi-automatic rifle were also seized from the home.
Jeffrey Robert Wright, 34, and 33-year-old Jennifer Anne Lynn Richard were arrested and charged with:
- production of marijuana
- possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking
- possession of cannabis resin
- possession of a restricted firearm
Wright is also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
He was scheduled to appear in a St. Thomas court on Friday while Richard was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to return to court on November 4th.
