A 43-year-old Saugeen Shores man is facing numerous charges in connection with a sexual assault and sexual interference complaint.
On Friday, Saugeen Shores police began investigating a complaint that has led to a dozen charges against a local man.
The 43-year-old is facing charges including:
- two counts of assault with a weapon
- two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age
- possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- traffic in a person under 18 years of age
- material benefit resulting from trafficking in persons under 18 years of age
- two counts of sexual exploitation
- sexual assault
- traffic in a schedule I substance
Police say he was remanded in custody following a court appearance.
