As Ontario NDP Leader Andrew Horwath campaigned with her London West candidate, Peggy Sattler, Tuesday afternoon, word came of a vote of support from area teachers.
The Thames Valley local of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario announced it is backing Sattler, a school trustee for the Thames Valley board, in the upcoming provincial byelection.
The pair campaigned at a Tim Hortons on Wonderland Road and Horwath says this byelection is important.
“Province-wide it sends a message to the government. It's an opportunity for people to think about the kind of representation they want and I think with all of the problems - the choice is pretty clear."
