An OPP officer with only a year under her belt has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
On Oct. 4, Huron OPP Cst. Megan McDougall was operating a fully marked cruiser on Mid Huron Beach Road when it left the road and struck a tree.
She was not hurt.
McDougall was charged with careless driving.
