The Forest City will have 3,000 more trees in the next couple of years thanks to Environment Canada.

It awarded $55,000 to ReForest London Saturday at Coronation Park.

The money will purchase 3,000 trees for London that will be planted over the next two years.

The trees will go towards ReForest London's Million Tree Challenge, which aims to plant one million trees in 10 years.

On Saturday, there was also tree planting training as ReForest London works with residents, community groups and businesses to help plant the trees
