Parents and children are asked to be on alert after a report of an attempted abduction near the Tillsonburg Community Centre Complex over the weekend.
Oxford County OPP are investigating after an incident on Hardy Avenue on Sunday morning.
Police say around 10 a.m. a 12-year-old girl and four-year-old boy were playing at the skate park when a man approached them and reportedly tried to get them into his vehicle.
A police search of the area did not locate the man or the vehicle.
The male is described as about 40 years old with a short, white beard, weighing approximately 170 pounds, about 5’11” tall and was wearing a fluorescent pink coat or shirt and purple baseball cap with a short peak.
The vehicle is described as a silver-coloured SUV with tinted windows and a luggage rack.
