London Knights lead OHL Finals 3-0 after forcing overtime in Oshawa
Compared to their first two games on home ice, it was a close call for the London Knights in Oshawa Monday night.
The Oshawa Generals scored six times in the first two periods after scoring only two goals total in games one and two in London.
But the Knights managed to mount a late comeback, scoring four goals in the third period to force overtime.
Kasper Halttunen had another hat trick with Oliver Bonk also scoring once while having three assists and Easton Cowan also adding three assists.
But it was rookie defenceman Henry Brzustewicz who scored two minutes into overtime, making the final score 7-6 Knights.
The Knights now lead the Generals 3-0 in the OHL Finals.
Game four will kick off Wednesday night in Oshawa at the Tribute Communities Centre where the Knights will have their first chance at winning their fifth J. Ross Robertson Cup.
