The founder of Sammy Souvlaki's is in critical condition following a robbery and assault on Sunday.
London police were called to Sammy’s on Trafalgar Street at about 1:30 a.m. for a reported robbery.
Staff Sgt. Tom Gaffney says four masked men were involved.
"There were weapons involved, it was not just hands."
He would not say what kind of weapons were involved.
Police found two male victims, who received injuries as a result of the robbery, one critically.
It has been confirmed that one of the victims is the owner and founder of the London chain of food trailers, Greek immigrant Sotirios, "Sammy" Cardabikis, 62.
Police are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
