A 76-year-old man died in a glider accident Sunday afternoon in Zorra Township.
OPP say the glider crashed in a corn field about one kilometer from the 31st Line near Embro.
The Embro fire department and Oxford County EMS responded to the scene, which is now closed off. Transport Canada will be investigating.
The glider was towed up by a plane and released to glide, OPP said. It is not clear what went wrong.
The OPP forensic identification unit is on scene and a coroner will be attending.
The man’s name has not been released.
