London police say a man who was in critical condition after an assault has died in hospital and the SIU is now involved in the investigation.
Officers and EMS were called for a disturbance outside Robinson Hall/Thorny Devil at 398 Talbot Street around 3 a.m. Saturday.
Two men were taken to hospital, a 29-year-old was treated and released, while a 26-year-old who was admitted in critical condition, died Sunday evening.
No arrests have been made in the incident.
London police are continuing to investigate, but Ontario's Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate.
