London police are investigating after St, Michael's Catholic Church was hit by vandals sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

Upon arriving to work Wednesday, staff noticed the graffiti at the Cheapside Street house of worship.

The markings included the Number of the Beast, otherwise known as "666" and an upsidedown cross.

Police have been notified and are looking into the possibility it is a hate crime.
