London police say a man has died after falling from a building.

Shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday, officers attended an apartment building in the 3000-block of Pomeroy Lane to locate a man they had safety concerns about.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., while on scene, officers were alerted to a 9-1-1 call reporting that someone had fallen from a balcony at the same location.

The officers immediately attended to the individual and located an injured man outside the building.

He was transported to hospital by paramedic services where he was later pronounced deceased.
