London police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in several armed robberies over the past week.
The first incident took place on Friday at about 3:30 p.m. at the Subway restaurant at 760 Hyde Park Road. Police say a man with a knife entered the store and demanded cash.
On Tuesday, there were two separate robberies at Mac’s convenience stores. One was at 925 Wonderland Road South at about 7 p.m. and the other was at 2254 Trafalgar Street at 10 p.m. Police say they also involved a man armed with a knife.
A fourth armed robbery took place on Wednesday at approximately 6:30 p.m. This one involved a knife at Ben’s Variety at 324 Wharncliffe Road South.
London police believe all of the robberies were committed by the same person.
No one was injured in any of the robberies.
The suspect is described as a male, Caucasian, six-feet-tall, 220 pounds, 30-35 years old, with short dark hair and was unshaven. He was wearing a dark baseball cap with white pinstripes, sunglasses, a dark hooded zip-up sweatshirt, dark pants and white running shoes.
