Huron County OPP are investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a child, and say the driver has been identified.
Around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, two young boys were walking home from school on Sanders Street in Exeter when they began to cross Main Street at the crosswalk.
As the pair were walking through the intersection, the driver of a white minivan turned and brushed up alongside one of the boys, knocking him to the ground.
Police say the driver took a quick look and drove away from the scene. Police had asked for public help to identify the female driver on Wednesday, and said Thursday that she had been identified.
The boy suffered a minor injury from the collision.
