Huron County OPP are investigating a double fatal collision north of Grand Bend.
Emergency crews were called to Bluewater Veteran’s Highway at Schadeview Road just after 6:20 a.m. Saturday.
Both drivers – who were the lone occupants in both their vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chevy truck has been identified as 32-year-old Robert Vander Gaag of Chatham.
The driver of the Ford Escort has been identified as 50-year-old, Lee Kirwan of Wyoming.
Members from the Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team are currently on scene investigating.
Highway 21 between Zurich-Hensall Road and Dashwood Road has since been reopened.
