Members of the board of health voted unanimously in-favour to dismiss Dr. Nancy Cameron.
Last week, board chair, Joe Steffler announced that Cameron had been placed on paid administrative leave.
The Middlesex-London Health Unit has been asked to provide a medical officer of health for the time being, until a suitable candidate can be found.
